Description
This large stylish cottage is beautifully furnished, with a large lounge/dining area perfect for a family holiday or celebration. It has a private hot tub in the garden, accessible from the first floor.
Foxglove Cottage has four double bedrooms, two of which can be twin single beds. A family bathroom and modern shower room complete the first floor. A double sofa-bed in the open plan lounge area gives sleeping accommodation for up to 10 guests.
The large ground floor is perfect for family celebrations and group gatherings. The kitchen area has a contemporary kitchen with all appliances, including a dishwasher and washing machine. A large table and dining chairs for 10, along with comfy sofas and large flat screen TV make the ground floor a lovely place to spend time with friends and family.
Foxglove Cottage has a private hot tub in the garden – perfect for a relaxing weekend or hen party. At the rear of the cottages there is a climbing frame, slide and swings for the younger children, and a wooden patio with garden furniture. There is also a grassed area with football goals for ball games. The garden has a wooden fence around it, making Standlow a child-friendly venue (and to stop the local sheep from visiting!).
The terraced area in front of the cottage is enclosed by a stone wall, with a gated exit onto the country lane. This makes Foxglove Cottage brilliant for families with small children or dogs. Traffic is at a minimum as the lane is used mainly by guests of the cottages and farm vehicles from the neighbouring sheep farm. The terrace at the front of the cottage provides a seated area with garden furniture and BBQs for the summer evenings.
Guests staying in Foxglove Cottage also have shared use of the large game room with a full size snooker table, air hockey, table tennis and bar billiards.
The view from the terrace is spectacular and looks down the valley to the village of Kniveton and beyond.

Pricing can be checked here. For 9 or 10 guests, simply add £100 or £200 onto the prices for the addition of the sofa-bed.
