Shiningford is the ultimate luxury group accommodation venue, accessed via a long driveway flanked by woodland and sitting in grounds in excess of 5 acres. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, two hot tubs, beautiful gardens and a children’s play frame.

An 18th Century Grade II listed Manor House and converted stables enclose a courtyard surrounded by countryside. They provide bespoke contemporary self-catering accommodation for up to 35 guests. The rustic dining hall in The Manor has a wood burning stove, and can host cosy evenings and celebratory dinners for large groups. The Manor kitchen boasts a huge Aga cooker, and is fully equipped for either self catering or external caterers. The stylish fittings and furnishings in The Stables compliment the opulence of the Manor House perfectly.

Shiningford Manor sleeps up to 19 guests. The 9 double bedrooms & 6 bathrooms are decorated and furnished in a contemporary style, yet still in keeping with the glorious rural setting. A log fire awaits you in the lounge, with comfy sofas & LCD TV, DVD Player & iPod docking station

The Garden Room leads out to a patio with the first of two large hot tubs, and outdoor furniture. From here you can access the wonderful gardens, orchard & manicured lawns.

The Stables offer luxury self-catering accommodation for up to 12 guests, across 5 en-suite bedrooms. A large open-plan living/dining area and a modern kitchen provide space for everyone to dine and relax. The Stables boast a beautiful lawned garden, looking out over rolling Derbyshire countryside. The stone patio contains rattan garden furniture and a private hot tub.

The grounds that surround Shiningford are private and absolutely fabulous! Set in over 5 acres with no neighbours and Carsington Water on the doorstep, Shiningford has something to offer all ages.

The outdoor swimming pool is open from Easter-October.

The large gardens are completely safe for the younger guests to enjoy. Shiningford is over half a mile from the nearest road and surrounded by its own land, giving parents the complete freedom to relax with friends and family. A walk or cycle to the end of the tree-lined drive brings you to the Carsington Trail – a very beautiful path around the lake. If you choose to walk or cycle the full 8 miles you will no doubt welcome the two hot tubs on your return!

Shiningford is ideally placed for a trip to Alton Towers, and younger guests may enjoy a visit to Gullivers Kingdom just 10 minutes away. A visit to Chatsworth House is a must! For the more sporty guests spend the day right on the doorstep at Carsington Water partaking in sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, mountain biking, power boating and many more.
